Our Vision

The goal of the Idaho Entrepreneurial Advantage (IdEA) portal is to strengthen Idaho’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing an education and information portal for local entrepreneurs, innovators, and inventors to be connected to knowledge, tools, resources, and others that will provide value to their efforts in turning ideas into successful businesses that create new products and services while creating new jobs, increasing tax revenue, and generating new wealth.

Background

Stemming from a U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) grant in south-central Idaho, the IDEA portal was created in an effort to provide a web-based resource for the innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs of the region to turn their ideas into businesses that would employ the region's workforce.

Moving Forward

As this portal progresses in its future development, the IdEA Network will provide portal members the ability to connect with each other in an effort to network and access available knowledge and resources.
